In last article I wrote it as a really big surprise that Yukari Miyake turned out to have been transferred to Yokosuka Band this March. Mariko Nakagawa was assigned as a successor to Yukari Miyake, and Miyake took place of her.
And I also mentioned that being released from heavy responsibility of central band singer, Yukari Miyake's long time dream to join the Fleet Band attached to the Trainig Squadron may come true in the near future.
Yesterday (19th May) it was turned out that Yukari Miyake probably has joined the Fleet Band this year. If so, she leaves Japan tomorrow on the training vessel "Kashima" and will visit many ports overseas until this October. It means that Yukari Miyake's fan overseas could have chances to enjoy her singing live.
According to press release last friday by JMSDF, the Overseas training Force will visit U.S.(Pearl Harbor, Sandiego, Guam), Republic of Guatemala(Puerto Quetzal), Republic of Peru(Callao), Republic of Equador(Guayaquil), Mexico(Mazatlan), French Polynesia(papeete), Republic of Fiji(Suva), New Zealand(Auckland), Australia(Sydney), Papua New Guinea(Rabaul) and Republic of Palau(Koror). It is still unknown when the fleet will visit each port.
Anyway Yukari Miyake's tour around the Pacific Ocean starts soon.
