So far, I have introduced some of Yukari Miyake with several English articles, so I think you understood that the range of repertoire of her singing is very wide from opera to barracks ballad. That's because one of the missions of the Tokyo Band is to engage public relations for all citizens of various music favor. Of course every piece she sings is wonderful and fascinating, but we must'nt forget that she is a talented soprano singer. Unfortunately we can have only little occasions to listen to her singing such pieces.
This time, I'd like to intoduce a video in which she shows her splendid performance of soprano singing.
On 9th July 2016, Joint Concert of central bands of Army, Navy and Air Force was carried out in "Link Station Aaomori" in Aomori city. The Joint Concert is annually held in one of regional cities nationwide. Last year, it was Kawagoe city near Tokyo and I fortunately could get a ticket and enjoyed the concert in one of seats of the front line. It was my first time to listen to Yukari Miyake singing just in front of me and so wonderful and unforgettable experience to me, I can tell you.

In the Joint Concert in Aomori, a brand new original piece of the Tokyo Band was premiered in the world.
”Ibuki - Breath of Life Symphonic Cantata for Voice and Wind Orchestra” was written by Ryoichi Wago and composed by Yasuhide Ito.
